Nice paint job. The difference of the before and after picture is very apparent. A lot of people assumes that house painting is easy. As you said in your post, the key is preparation. A painter just doesn't come in and start work armed with a brush. Like any home improvement or restoration job, painting requires prep work. Without this expect a haphazard job at best. The paint will not stick to the surface for long and another paint job will be needed. This is a waste of money that should otherwise go to other areas of a home that needs updating.
